Outback Barbecue Guide - Gas Barbecues

Gas barbecues offer complete flexibility for outdoor cooking at the touch of a button you can be entertaining family and friends without having to plan setting the coal alight.
In taste tests it has been proven that there simply is no difference in the taste of the food that comes form a gas or charcoal barbecue. How the gas barbecue works to give this same flavour, the gas burner heats up the cooking surface be that lava rock ceramic briquettes or flavouriser bars. These in turn cook the food on your barbecue. The natural juices present in your food fall on to these cooking surfaces and vaporise the smoke from this flavours your food giving that unique barbecued taste.
Hooded gas barbecues with a temperature gauge give completely accurate cooking temperatures and can be used to cook whole joints of meat.
